Some honorable mentions, Half Life 1, Team Fortress 2, and pretty much every Call of Duty game ever made, but in my personal tastes, all of the above have to come first. City of heroes was my first MMO and will always have a special place in my gaming heart. I just think for my liking no games come close to the ones mentioned above for overall game play and story and the characters.

San Andreas sucked on the PC, didn’t even come close to finishing it! I have yet to really make a dent in GTA4, so can’t comment on that, but thought it was worth noting that I did not play it before someone says how could it now be on the list.

I did not play Skyrim, probably for fear of it consuming my life, I am sure if I did play it though, it would have a really, really good shot at making the top 10 list. (just went on sale today on Steam too)

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (the original) is IMO the best racing game ever for the PC, and I have played practically all of them, but again in my tastes, you must realize RPGs or just huge open world games or extremely intelligent/funny and challenging games are going to take precedent over a racing game and many other genres

never played Psychonaughts, own it, but never played it

Unreal Tournament 2003 should be up there, I played that game for years and out of 60 people was forever #1 on my server, 2004 sucked, but Unreal Tournament 3 is a good game, sadly now all the servers are pretty much dead for all the Unreal games

Soldier of Fortune 2 was another favorite game of mine, spent many, many hours playing custom maps on online multiplayer

had some cool experiences with Warhammer Online, but I do not even think that game makes my top 20, despite having some really awesome experiences and playing in a guild with people I knew in real life, LOL

finally, never completed Batman: Arkham Asylum, nor did I complete any other Star Wars games, besides Jedi Knight Academy, which also reserves a special place in my heart b/c I played that multiplier a lot, and I met a girl in that game that I spoke to for years online and on the phone

eh Far Cry games, nah, fun at times, but just not polished

only played like 10 minutes of Bioshock 1, and never played Bioshock 2, although I own both of these games

Assassins Creed kind of sucked on the PC, never completed the game

was never into the Splinter Cell game, Rainbow Six was a good game though

Doom3 was overrated

Postal 1 and 2 were great games, I enjoyed the hell out of them, and unlike the Postal 2 sequel, they were only slightly disturbing/offensive, I refused to play the 3rd 1, but yea this game may be in my top 15, IDK, Postal 2 that is

Max Payne 1 and 2 were great games, again worth a mention here, but IDK where the would place on a larger list

of course you have Halo 1 and 2, loved them, great games, but eh not sure it makes top 15, top 20 maybe

and finally I would be remiss if I did not mention You Do Not Know Jack: The Ride… such a completely different genre of game compared to all of the above mentioned, but shit was it fun and surprisingly a big part of my life… I mean not that big, but pretty big, haha

OK I guess I am done writing for now, sure I left out tons of games I should have mentioned, but I am pretty damn sure my top 10 list is solid and is not missing any game that important and worth being there

2. SSDs (I can’t get over the speed increase here and the responsiveness of the system, ridiculous upgrade to any computer! Biggest innovation/breakthrough in computer tech in the last 10 years IMHO)

Processors (INTEL!!! who’s AMD?, and hell I find the Atom platform to be beyond intriguing as we move into the next generation of them, and Snapdragon and the A4 and ARM, the mobile space right now in processors is far more sexy/appealing than the Core i7 is to me, and well fuck is that a “hot” sexy CPU! probably the sickest/sexiest thing about the i7 is the over clocking room/potential, even of the low end 720 and 730 parts)
